E6PR is the company that invented the “Eco 6 Pack Rings” (and 4 Pack rings), as well as other sustainable packaging solutions for the beverage and CPG industries
Designed to replace plastic six-pack rings, our E6PR™ is 100% biodegradable,
compostable, plastic-free and the first real environmentally friendly alternative to the
current plastic packaging solutions
The ideation of E6PR was inspired by a desire to address the issue of plastic waste and its devastating effect on the environment and wildlife
What is the E6PR made of?
E6PR is made of a proprietary mix of biobased by-product waste from the food and beverage industry, as well as other organic materials
What are the benefits of the E6PR?
The E6PR solutions directly contribute to solving the pressing challenge that thousands of animals are dying from ingesting or being harmed by plastic. Animals are able to digest our products’ ingredients, in case of accidental ingestion
While completely “animal safe,” all E6PR products are also structurally sound for the purposes of customary packaging and can last years in storage within a standard warehouse environment
The E6PR provides brewing and beverage companies an eco-friendly packaging solution that is environmentally responsible and taps into the growing consumer demand for sustainable products
How long does it take for the E6PR to degrade or
Depending on the ecosystem, it may take the E6PRs up to 200 days to fully degrade or compost. The disintegration of E6PRs in the ocean and on land are contingent on certain factors such as movement, salinity, temperature, humidity, soil composition, etc
Does the E6PR hold any certifications?
The E6PRs are certified as biodegradable according to EPA 796.3200 1995 standards. They are also a bio-based product in line with ASTM D6866-18 Method B (AMS) requirements
A toxicity test by Avomeen Analytical Services certifies that our products have no pesticides nor volatile substances, and less heavy metals than milk
Additional compostable and biodegradable certifications are underway
What companies are
currently using E6PRs?
Over 150 customers are using our E6PR holders in more than 20 countries, including
US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, Poland, Scotland, UK, Australia, New
Zealand, Solomon Islands, and others
E6PR is working with nano, micro, mid and large size beverage companies globally, to
help them transition to a plastic free packaging
